Singapore Software Buyers’ Pack 2026

Singapore Software Buyers’ Pack 2026

Five one-page worksheets to pressure-test a custom software or AI budget, SOW, and vendor shortlist before you sign—built for Singapore sponsors, procurement, and finance teams. Free to download. No email required.

Most software budgets aren’t blown by the coding

They’re blown by what surrounds it: integrations nobody sized, testing that needed evidence, support everyone assumed was included, and contracts that went quiet on exit. This pack turns those risks into worksheets you can fill in during one working session—before you ask vendors for a number, and again before signature.

Who it’s for: Singapore business sponsors, IT and tech leads, procurement, and whoever owns compliance or data protection—anyone buying custom software, systems integration, or AI and automation work from an external partner. What you walk away with: a cost-driver sheet with named owners, a SOW marked Accept / Negotiate / Reject, and a weighted vendor scorecard frozen before proposals open.

Five worksheets, one page each

Cost-driver sheet

Rate discovery, team mix, integrations, UAT, compliance, DevOps, contingency, and year-one AMS as High / Med / Low, name an owner, and ask every vendor to price against these lines—not a single SGD total.

SOW red-flag table

Nine clause patterns—scope, IP, warranty vs AMS, handoff, exit, acceptance, subcontractors, change control, liability—with what good looks like.

Vendor scorecard

Suggested weight bands, evidence to inspect, written 1–5 anchors, and veto signals to watch for during evaluation.

UAT & acceptance checklist

A severity matrix with go-live rules, plus before-and-during UAT checks and a sign-off evidence pack.

Handoff & exit pack

Warranty vs defect liability vs AMS, a support-readiness gate, and exit and transition terms to write while everyone is still friendly.

  • If more than three high-impact cost drivers have no named owner, your SGD total is a hope, not an estimate.
  • If more than three SOW rows are still “Negotiate”, you’re not ready to sign.
  • Grants such as PSG or EDG may help fund a project; they don’t change what it costs to build well. Size the drivers first, then check funding fit with Enterprise Singapore.

Educational only; not legal, financial, or grant advice. Settle contract terms such as liability caps, cure periods, and escrow with your own counsel.
